The AME 100 is a premium quality continuous horizontal louvre offering the superior weather performance of the integral double raintrap design. The blades are supported at 1200 centres by internal blade brackets which promotes the continuous, uncluttered external appearance. The corrosion resistant aluminium extruded profile, has good air flow characteristics which meet the arduous performance requirements of cyclonic terrain Category One conditions. Double raintrap design features combine to make the AME 100 louvre one of the most weatherproof of all single stage louvre units.
Applications
The AME 100 louvres are suitable for use in louvre penthouses, car park stairwell pressurization intakes, cooling tower screens etc., this louvre should not be used where electrical equipment is stored directly behind.
Performance
AME 100 louvres meet or exceed the requirements of AS2047-1997 Para.5.3.6.1 for structural deflection and have been tested under stringently controlled conditions by the University of Queensland Testing Laboratory for Airflow (pressure drop).

Suggested Specifications
Louvres shall be Austral Monsoon ‘AME 100’ Weatherproof louvre with concealed blade support brackets fixed to support mullions at max 1200 centres. Frames shall be Face fix/Box section framing complete with vermin proof mesh to rear of unit. Material shall be extruded aluminium with a powdercoat/anodised finish. Installation shall be as per Manufacturer’s recommendations.
