The AME 100 HV is a two stage louvre unit which offers a level of protection from the ingress of water unparalleled by single stage louvre panels. Combining the rugged horizontal double raintrap louvre front stage with the versatile chevron pattern vertical rear stage, the AME 100 HV offers moderate free air flow characteristics, modular construction and superior protection in one panel.
Applications
Recommended for applications requiring moderate free air flow and ultimate protection from water penetration. The AME 100 HV is ideally suited to applications as lift motor rooms, plant rooms etc., where limited ingress of water is of paramount importance.
Performance
AME 100 HV two stage louvres meet or exceed the requirements of AS2047-1997 Para.5.3.6.1 for structural deflection and have been tested under stringently controlled conditions by the University of Queensland Testing Laboratory for Air Flow (pressure drop).
Suggested Specifications
Louvres shall be Austral Monsoon ‘AME 100 HV’ weatherproof in face fix framing for the front stage and box section for the rear or box section for the front and rear stages, complete with vermin proof mesh to face of rear stage. Material shall be extruded aluminium with a powdercoat/anodized finish. Installation shall be in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations.
