The AME 50 is a general purpose horizontally-bladed louvre which combines the crisp, uncluttered appearance of an extruded section with the corrosion resistance of aluminium. Best suited to applications requiring a combination of satisfactory air flow and moderate weather keeping properties. The modular construction and slender assembled panel width of the AME 50 make it an ideal choice where installed wall thickness is of paramount importance.
Applications
The bold clean appearance and handsome proportions of the AME 50 louvre make it ideally suited to moderately sized fresh air inlet and exhaust ventilators as well as larger type industrial and commercial door applications.
Performance
AME 50 louvres meet or exceed the requirements of AS2047-1997 Para.5.3.6.1 for structural deflection and have been tested under stringently controlled conditions by the University of Queensland Testing Laboratory for AirFlow (pressure drop).

Suggested Specifications
Louvres shall be Austral Monsoon ‘AME 50’ Weatherproof Louvres. Material shall be extruded aluminium with a powdercoat/anodised finished. Installation shall be as per Manufacturer’s recommendations.
