Features
Assembled from lightweight roll formed interlocking slats with extruded aluminium bottom rail. Every slat is fitted with nylon end clips at each end to secure slats laterally and take up wear. Slats run in exclusive Austral-Monsoon extruded guides which incorporate PVC buffer to eliminate metal to metal contact and reduce noise. Bottom rail can be fitted with a PVC seal as an optional extra.Shootbolts to accept padlocks are fitted as standard equipment. Two way, two point key operated locking available fitted to bottom rail. Operation is by hand only.
Applications
Suitable for fixing between or behind reveals, these shutters are used extensively for counters, bars, shopfronts and smaller service hatches and openings.
Finish
Available in mill finish, clear or coloured anodised or polyurethane paint to match any colour. Powder coating available in a choice of colours.

50mm x 0.9mm roll formed aluminium
Side Guide (Track):
Exclusive Austral-Monsoon extruded aluminium section with built in PVC buffer (see diagram).
Bottom Rail:
63mm extruded aluminium inverted T section with PVC seal/buffer incorporated as an optional extra.
Brackets:
Fabricated from mild steel plate to suit application.
Roller Drum:
100mm dia lightweight steel or aluminium tube encasing helical coil spring of super grade spring wire.
Locking:
Shoot bolts fixed internally or externally, to accept padlock. Optical two way, two point key operated lock mounted to bottom rail.
Mullions:
Provided shutters are not subject to wind loadings, wide openings can include removable centre or corner mullions allowing two or more shutters to be used.
