Lift inspection windows are available in non-fire rated, two hour fire rated & four hour fire rated designs. Glazing type & construction varies depending on rating.
Windows are side hinged opening into the control room area. Fire rated versions are self closing & latching. A perforated mesh on the lift shaft side prevents access to the shaft & repels any material that may dislodge.
Designed for fitting into a standard opening of 600mm x 600mm.
APLLICATIONS
An audio visual communication window situated in the lift shaft wall between the control room & lift shaft of hydraulic lifts. Also available as Horizontal (top mounted) installation.
HARDWARE
All necessary hardware is provided other than fixing.
FINISHES
One hour fire rate windows are required to be hot dip galvanized and factory applied Polyester Powder Coating as standard.
INSTALLATION
The outer frame is drilled to take masonry anchors, two per side, clearance between steel outer frame & masonry must be grouted to ensure fire rating.
