Ventialtion Equipment - Western GM Mark II Ventilator
Features
A one piece seamless top plate design is used with integrated structural braces to provide strength and long term weather resistance. Lower inclined baffle ring deflects and prevents entrance of upwardly directed air currents. All exhaust openings areas are greater than the throat diameter. Construction includes a circular reinforced wind band and solid baffle-brace. All components effectively inhibit the entrance of rain, are self-cleaning and drain freely to the outside. Engineered to withstand stresses developed by 140 km/hr wind velocities.
Applications
Used often as an efficient outlet for ducted exhaust systems, the Western GM MKII can be used as either a natural or forced pressure outlet cowl. This dual purpose provides for flexibility where a project may benefit from a uniform roof profile, with the same style of ventilator appearing on all outlets and on all rooftops. The GM MKII is more efficient and more attractive than the plain (or chinamans) cowl. The durable design has been used on commercial projects to provide a more attractive and more professional finish to the otherwise common alternatives.
